Trade Union’s commitment to reach the Millennium Development Goals

On 22 of September 2000, during the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, 189 Heads of States and Governments signed The Millennium Declaration. This document has had the aim to cut poverty in half by 2015, through the achievement of Eight Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s).
